How to handle cutting and measuring of 3D Acoustic Panels: key steps to ensure a perfect fit

In interior design, PET acoustic panels are popular as a high-performance acoustic felt for their excellent acoustics and aesthetic appearance. However, correct cutting and measuring are crucial steps to ensure the effective installation of polyester acoustic panels. In this article, we will share some practical tips for dealing with 3D Acoustic Panel cutting and measuring to ensure your installation process goes smoothly.

 1. Prepare the tools

Before you start measuring and cutting, make sure you have the tools you need. Basic tools include: tape measure, ruler, pencil, paper cutter or cutter, and safety glasses and gloves. Having the right tools will make the measuring and cutting process smoother and safer.

 2. Accurate Measurement

First, measure the wall or ceiling where the polyester acoustic panels will be installed. Use a tape measure to measure the height and width of each area and record this data. To ensure accuracy, it is advisable to measure from more than one point, especially if the wall is uneven. Remember to take into account any obstructions such as sockets, switches or window frames that may interfere with the installation of the 3D Acoustic Panel when measuring.
